The Connecticut Conference has ended recruitment of volunteers for General Synod 26, thanks to an enormous and, indeed, overwhelming response from the members of Connecticut's churches. If you have volunteered already, thank you very much! If you haven't already done so, we thank you for your interest, and encourage you to register to attend Synod events as a visitor. Your presence will mean a great deal!

One: If You Have Not Registered as a Connecticut Conference Volunteer

Click here to go to the General Synod Registration site. You may register for the entire Synod, or for lesser periods during the event (at reduced cost). The volunteer rate will not be available.

Two: If You Have Registered as a Connecticut Conference Volunteer

You should receive a response from the volunteer coordinator of your area. If you do not in a reasonable amount of time, please send an email to synodhosting@ctucc.org, and we will notify your coordinator that you haven't had any contact.

You will need to receive the discount code from your coordinator before you can register for General Synod at the volunteer rate.

Two: Register for Synod at the Volunteer Rate

Register for General Synod at the national UCC web site (see the links at right) by following these steps:

• Click the Register Online link at the top of the left hand column.
• At the Welcome page, click "Continue."
• Complete the form, and include all the required information indicated by the red asterisks.
• At the line that says, "I'd like to register as:" select "Connecticut - General Synod Volunteer."
• Below this enter the discount code. Your volunteer coordinator will provide this code to you.
• For "Conference/group," select "Connecticut."
• When you have completed this first page, click Continue.
• On the next page, select any additional activities for which you'd like to purchase tickets. No discounts apply to events with additional costs.
• Click on payment. Enter the payment account details. If you do not see a discount rate of $110 on this screen (which represents the reduction in your registration fee), click on Contact Information on the left side of the page and make sure you entered the discount code correctly.

When all your information is correct, click on Submit and Finish.

You will then be registered as a volunteer!
