Prayers for Those Who Face the Battle
We know that many of our local church members are serving overseas, or have family members who are. We have listed names given to us by their families here. The purpose is to hold these dedicated and special people in a wide circle of prayer. Please hold all these people, and those with whom they live and serve, tenderly in prayer! Nine are deployed; five are on the faculty of the Coast Guard Academy or the Navy Sub School, dedicating their skills in support of their comrades. Please remember that no one wants peace or needs prayers more than those caught up in violent conflict, and their families who wait and worry in whatever country they call home. May God bless us all with a peace that brings justice and reconciliation.
