Conference Sermon Collection
The love of the sermon provided much of the energy that drove the Reformation, and that energy continues to thrive today. Our Congregational ancestors frequently included the publication of sermon collections in their pastoral work, and many do so now.
This collection allows our Conference clergy and laity to declare their faith before a wider congregation, much as the publication of a book does, and it allows our web site visitors the opportunity to see some of the range of theological insight, missionary enthusiasm, and personal piety of our people. It is intended as a kind of "sermon smorgasbord," a tantalizing taste of the richness found in our church sanctuaries on Sunday morning.
