Annual Meeting 2002: Cover Letter to August Mailing

TO: Delegates and Visitors to Annual Meeting

A warm invitation is extended to you to attend the Annual Meeting of the Connecticut Conference to be held at Hill Regional Career High School in New Haven, CT.

The purpose of this mailing is to provide you with registration and reservation information in preparation for your attendance. Please note on the Registration/Reservation form that you are able to use a credit card this year, if that is convenient for you. Please review all the materials and select those appropriate to your needs.

A guide to the agenda called "What's Happening?" will further inform you. Note that Saturday evening will end with dinner-there is no plenary session after dinner.

Please also review the workshops so that when you arrive at the Annual Meeting you can sign up for the one that interests you. Be sure to sign up for your workshop upon arrival at Hill Regional Career High School.

Youth mission activity and involvement in the actual meeting is being provided. We are providing other involvement for youth in this year's meeting as well as mission projects. Please see the flyer enclosed.

The Call to the Annual Meeting will be mailed to you after September 6. It will contain the proposed revisions of the bylaws and other pertinent business coming before the meeting. The proposed budget is enclosed in this mailing. Please be sure to bring it with you to the Annual Meeting.

Other attractions at the Annual Meeting will be displays, a bookstore, an outreach opportunity, and a prayer room.
