When a natural or human-made disaster strikes, Christians want to know so that they can provide aid and comfort to the sufferers. This list provides that news, along with descriptions of the best ways to help and news of UCC responses already in place. This list has been operating since 1998 in various forms, and has finally moved onto our list server. Jim Morgan, Associate Conference Minister for Mission Interpretation and Media Relations, moderates the list.
