Our purpose is to cultivate the Spirit of Christ in every area of human life, beginning with our home and reaching into the community and the world. The Fellowship does this by providing resources, guidance, and encouragement through Worship, Study, and Service.
In 2000, The Rev. Linda Bagnal, a member of the Worship Team of Connecticut Women of the United Church of Christ developed a logo for the group that embodies their spirit and mission. The logo is the outline of the Charter Oak, a prominent symbol of the particular heritage of our state. Service, Study, and Worship are represented by icons inside the tree. These three themes are the ways our work is organized. The words under the roots of the tree -- "God gives the Growth" find their origin in I Corinthians 3:6.

"What then is Appolos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigns to each. I planted, Appolos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. The one who plants and the one who waters have a common purpose, and each will receive wages according to the labor of each. For we are God's servants, working together; you are God's field, God's building."
Look for the logo on communications from CT Women of the U.C.C. and remember it's significance.
Connecticut Women of the United Church of Christ also support the 6 AMA Colleges and 2 Theological Seminaries.
